Surfoplanes or Surf Mats
First, there was Surf Mat was the beginning of super fun. These blow-up air mats were the first real surf craft. Surfoplanes were the brand and others followed but never made the quantity of the Surfoplane.
The reclusive but highly innovative George Greenough was the first to ride a matt in a surf movie which was the pre Kneeboard and spoon that George is famous for. Even after all these years and innovations Goerge still rides his matt today.
There is a dedicated following that ride these mats on a daily basis. Neil Cameron a master fibreglasser and Adam Williams from kingwacker blogs are seen having a ball on these surf craft, and when watching the video’s on the following link you can see for yourself.
