Today we said farewell to a true character of surfing. Marty was loved by so many and way ahead of the game while pursuing his passion of surf photography. You may not have realised but some of the most iconic shots that graced the surf magazines around the world would have had credit to Marty Tullemans. The crowd was a who’s who of Gold Coast surfing and fellow photographers. A special mention for Mary Shaw, Marty’s sister who stayed by Marty’s side during his final days and is a generous soul and Marty would be proud of her generosity and the work she has put in to bring us all together today.
