The Manyana Collection is only small, but full of quality boards. It was a difficult situation with these images and I will return soon to take these boards off the walls to get a few more images. Thanks for allowing me to invade your man cave, to take the images we did.

You will notice a hull shaped plywood board in the collection. This board was one of the original boards made in South Australia. The name Bubbles painted on the deck has a story that gives an insight into the history of this board. It was purchased in S.A. and the purchaser asked it’s history, he was told the original owner was still living. She allowed him to visit her home and told him the history, and after some conversations, he asked what the Bubbles stood for. The 96-year-old lady seemed a bit shy but went on to tell him it was her old nickname. She hesitated and then stated, well it was because I had such small breasts that looked like little bubbles !!!! Classic.
