Blaxell Woody

This board is a very rare board as Woody (RIP) grew up in Norah Head on the NSW Central Coast, then moving to Northern NSW near Byron Bay, but this board was shaped for Blaxell whilst Woody was on a trip to Western Australia.

Woody was a good friend of Michael & Tommy Peterson, and their influence can be seen in this shape.

I was talking to Rabbit Bartholmew at Woody’s funeral and he said would always remember him for his speed. Everything he did on a wave was at tremendous speed, amazing surfer.
