Jackson Surfboards was Cronulla shire’s premiere board builder for many over 50 years, this is a very early example as the decal is a hand-drawn on a tissue. Brian Jackson or “Jacko” as everyone knew him was larger than life character and was an extremely popular guy. From memory, I think the label started out as Jackson & Cansdell or something similar, but Jacko went out on his own and this board is one of the first of them.
